The DAFF export permit is valid for only 72 hours from issue to departure. Book the flight before the permit exists, confirmed against the vet appointment date, or the whole sequence has to be repeated.
Tunisia's ban on Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Tosa and Mastiff-type dogs applies at the border no matter how complete the Australian paperwork is. There is no appeal process at Tunis-Carthage; a refused dog returns to Australia at the owner's cost.
