Pets entering Brazil from Indonesia face a MAPA import permit requirement and a 30-day quarantine at GRU. There is no titre test. The Brazil process is demanding in terms of quarantine length but not in terms of pre-travel testing.
Pets entering Indonesia from Brazil face the FAVN titre test (30 days after vaccination, then at least 30 days from blood draw before entry), a BARANTAN import recommendation, and a 30-day facility quarantine on arrival at CGK or SUB. The Indonesia process adds the titre test wait to an already long timeline.
Owners returning from Indonesia to Brazil, or those considering a round trip, should plan for both sets of requirements independently. Neither country simplifies the process for the other.
